These "stereo" wheel pots, in theory, are very useful for small/slim projects which require applying a variable, but equal, resistance to two channels, typically for volume or signal strength adjustment. The main issue with these devices is the variability between the two channels on each pot. On all my parts, the first pot (pins 1->2) has a higher resistance than the second, up to 5KOhm (10%) more near the high end! The difference drops as you lower the overall resistance, making it difficult to adjust for. You can somewhat lower the difference by putting a high value resistor (say, 200K-300K) across pins 1 and 2. This will get the two closer on the low end, but could make things slightly worse on the very high-end. Using another potentiometer and a voltmeter/oscilloscope will help you dial in the best value for the specific pot you're using. Will you notice the difference in operation? Maybe, maybe not. Depends if you're using these on the very high-end of the resistance window (near the 50K). Ultimately, If you're looking for a well matched dual pot, you'll need to look elsewhere. Unfortunately these are the only dual channel "wheel" pots I could find, so if you really want this style of pot and must have the better accuracy, I'd recommend connecting a single channel wheel pot to a microcontroller and have the microcontroller adjust a digital pot w/ two channels instead. These are linear potentiometers. These are not audio taper. The description implies that it has an on/off switch ("volume switch control"). But it does not. Would have been fine if the potentiometer at least had an audio taper, but no, it does not. Supplier asked for a photo: same as in the picture, but three pins (not the 5 required).

The title says it's a switch "uxcell 50K Ohm Dial Wheel Potentiometer for Audio Stereo Volume **Switch** Control". It is not a potentiometer and switch, it's just a pot.
