Good water flow, works great as a replacement for ge opal ice maker. Doesn't make much noise.

I originally purchased this pump planning to install in a Thereye nugget ice maker that was exhibiting pump issues. Before I got around to replacing it, the Thereye unit main seal started to leak (around 1yr old). Thankfully, Thereye stood by their product and fully refunded my purchase price the extended warranty I had purchased did not apply since it was technically still under the manufacturers warranty (ZeeBooth DID refund the extended warranty price as the refund was handled thru ZeeBooth) At any rate, we replaced the ice maker with an identically looking GE Opal V1B ice maker. Within a period of 5 months, 3 GE units units failed due to pump issues. FYI, I am running RO water ONLY tested to a TDS o around 10ppm, so the failures are NOT due to water issues. All 3 GE units failed at around the 2 month mark. We do use the machine 7X24. The 1st two were replaced by Geek Squad and the 3rd, I decided to bite the bullet and install the new pump I had on hand as clearly a new unit was going to fail due to the same cheap pump. It is a bit of a PITA to get the back and top cover off the ice maker, but all in all, not an overly difficult repair. New pump is rated slightly higher output than the original which should allow it to fill the internal reservoir faster and cycle with less on time and less wear and tear. New pump is slightly quieter than original as well. I have ordered another of these new pumps to have a spare on hand just in case the life span on this new pump proves no longer than the original design.

This pump is essentially identical to the GE Profile Opal 2.0 nugget ice maker's water pump. My machine would display 'add water' indicator every time I turned on (after a few minutes). It started happening while having a filter installed. Then I removed the filter and just put the screen in. All was good for a few months, then it started happening with the screen filter installed. So I removed that, and it worked ok for a few days longer, but then, failed repeatedly. I took off the back and the top of the ice maker and opened the reservoir tank which has the floater switch on the lid. I turned the lid upside down and tried again and finally it would start making ice at least until the bin was full. But it wouldn't restart, it would say 'add water' again. So naturally I thought the floater switch was bad. It wasn't. The problem was the pump wasn't strong enough to fill the reservoir tank to the correct levels to get the ice making mode to kick in. I just knew it was the float switch, but I was wrong. IT WAS THE PUMP!! I installed the new pump, which is at the rear of the ice maker, so it's easy to get to, and turned it on... It's making ice again without having to jump start the thing by turning that floater switch upside down. So, if you're having a problem with your Opal Nugget Ice Maker 2.0 constantly flashing the 'add water' light... buy this pump. Chances are, THIS is your issue. I'm guessing the pump just gets weaker after time. I use my ice maker ALL the time. So it runs a lot. I think it just wore out. My machine is still under warranty, but this is way less hassle to replace the pump than it is to send them the ice maker. It's only 10 months old. I'm a little surprised I needed to replace it already. So I just bought a second pump to have on standby. ...because, you never know. :)

I had to replace the water pump in my Wamife pellet ice maker. The Wamife company sucks for any help, answering emails, and their global phone number was shut off. So I took it upon myself to remedy the bad pump. I looked on ZeeBooth and poof found the pump. The measurements were a little off, but still worked. Now I'm happy with my little ice pellets again!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS, ZeeBooth!!!!

Could not test the capabilities of the pump because the motor came defective. It was connected properly to a power supply for testing and it would not pull any power to spin unless I pulled outwards on the motor shaft. Please check your QC!
