I usually don't write reviews but since this didn't have any I figured I'd provide my input. Usually with lower cost options like Uxcell things are hit and miss on quality. I was pleasantly surprised at how well this was put together. Full disclosure that I haven't installed it in my project yet, so haven't seen it in action but the contact portion is see through so I can tell its making good contact. This IS a momentary/centering joystick. As in, if you let go it automatically returns itself to a neutral position. I saw other reviews on similar products saying they were mislabeled and didn't automatically reenter itself. The entire thing looks to be plastic, with the collar/threads a kind of faux chrome colored plastic. That being said unless you're planning to hit it with a hammer or subject it to some major abuse it looks like it will hold up fine. Mounting diameter looks to be almost dead on 30mm. If something unexpectedly bad happens once I put it to work, I'll come back and edit this review and add details. Edit: look up HKA1-41Z02 also on ZeeBooth and you can get the exact switch a few dollars cheaper. It's not worth the time to return for me. Still a good switch.
